The Training

Be in your waist and feet like never before.

Direct, no fuss, essential training that takes you to where you want to be — clear, open, released, connected.

Rare ground in the worlds of taiji and yoga.

Each week the group sends me their questions and short videos of what they're working on. I shape the lesson around what's alive in the group right now. One weekly lesson, sent to everyone — group-shaped, never pre-planned. Then I send personal feedback on each of your videos.

The whole idea is to teach you how to train.

So that you are not dependent on ceaseless lessons, a never-ending workshop circuit, retreats. The tools you need, in the clearest and most accessible way.

Train with me for a month or two, then take that newfound clarity and train independently, with confidence. I'll always be here if you need to check in.

— Andy
How it works

Group-shaped. Personally felt. Weekly.

1

You send your week

A short video of your practice, plus any questions or directions you want addressed. The group's questions and observations shape what comes next.

2

I record the week's lesson

One weekly lesson — sent to everyone in the group. Shaped by what's alive in the group's questions and videos that week. Never pre-planned. Never scripted. Real teaching, in response to real practice.

3

You train

Take the lesson, do the work, build the skill of training. The point is to make you independent — not to keep you in lessons forever.

4

Personal feedback. Direct check-ins.

I send personal feedback on each of your videos — direct, honest, on your actual practice. Through the week, message me with anything that comes up. Real-time guidance from someone who knows your training. Not a chatbot, not a community forum. Me.

Four foundations · One practice

Clarity. Grounding. Training. Health.

Clarity

Seeing and releasing contraction in awareness. The greatest skill there is, and the essence of every internal practice.

Grounding

Awareness rests. The body finds the earth. True balance, built in.

Training

The skill of training itself. Practice becomes second nature — not theory, embodied work.

Health

Through release, the whole system finds space. Mind, energetic body, physical body — harmony, naturally.

— Andy

"The whole idea is to teach you how to train"

I've been training in martial arts for over thirty years and teaching full-time for twenty. After such a long time, it's difficult to improve further. Nevertheless, the last year was one of the most important for my personal development — probably the year with the greatest progress, thanks to Andy Mack's training.

Christoph

Andy teaches in a way I can only describe as awesome. Keen, sensitive, patient, encouraging — and very quick to guide one to release. From day one, Andy said: I am not here to be your crutch. And he means that. He wants people to flourish, to stand on their own, to create their own awesomeness. In a world full of dualistic extremes, Andy provides a refreshing middle way. He embodies what he teaches. When you take on Dissolve as a practice and apply it to your own art — as far as I can see, you only get happier and better at what you do.

The training is quite special. The mind is very clear, and I haven't felt my legs or feet in such a way before. It's as though they are now alive — they are so clear. And I've been training taiji for more than ten years, so that's really something.

P

Why did I know, in my core, I would learn more with your teaching than anyone else. I've been playing with mind in the waist with shoulders dropped — robot hands — and awareness, walking, stairs, everyday movement. This is life-changing. Taiji is great, but this is core to everything in movement. This lesson ties together what I have been feeling — core movement in everyday life, not just taiji or yoga. Thank you.

Who you'll train with

Sifu Andy Mack.

21 years · 19 with Adam Mizner · LP Jumnien's teaching at the root

Twenty-one years of continuous, deep practice — nineteen of those alongside Adam Mizner, primarily in meditation, with taiji and qigong as vehicles for the work. Breath, the elements, the chakras — six hours a day on the chakras for long stretches. The full Hermetics Initiation. Samadhi, jhana, seven years of Buddhist meditation.

The pivotal encounter came in Thailand with Luang Phor Jumnien Silasettho — eighteen months of no-thought followed that first meeting. Dissolve was born approximately a year later. Andy spent extended time in the forest temples of Luang Phor Tong, Kruba Noi, Luang Phor Plien, and Luang Phor Anan — each from a different strand of the Thai Buddhist tradition.

In the taiji context: Sifu Andy Mack. Nineteen years in Heaven Man Earth Taiji as Adam's inner door disciple — one of his two senior students and head instructor for HME Europe, living and training alongside him across Australia, Thailand, and throughout Europe. Nineteen years of classical internal arts training is what underwrites this work. Now based in Brazil with his wife Kat, he teaches it the way it was given to him — directly, honestly, and with the goal of making you independent.

Train weekly. Train honestly. Become independent.
