Every student starts here. An eight-week naturally progressive arc with Andy — one hour of teaching each week, plus personal video feedback on your own training. By the end of the first lesson you’ll be training in a way that changes everything: more open, in your feet, connected, joyful, clear. Rolling enrolment — start any time.

LONG DESCRIPTION

The prerequisite for everything else

Foundation is the ground-up entry to Alignment Training. Every student passes through here — there are no shortcuts, and there’s no curriculum to chase. The work is taught live, in the room, calibrated to what you bring. After Foundation, you’re free to move into the field — Crew, Posse, Posse +, or Circle — at your own choosing. If you’ve trained with Andy since 2024, you can join the Posse, Posse+ and Circle groups.

How it runs

Eight weeks, one hour per week. Each lesson is delivered as a live video session with Andy. Between sessions, you film yourself training and Andy returns personal video feedback — the same calibration he gives his closest students. This is how the internal arts have been taught for centuries, before forms and levels and belts. Oral tradition. Direct.

What the work does

Andy’s main goal is to develop your skills in release, and to do so, he holds nothing back in his teaching. By the end of the first lesson, you’ll be training in a way that changes everything — more open, in your feet, connected, joyful, clear. The training is not about acquiring more techniques. It’s about uncovering and developing the one essential skill underneath all of it: Hwa, the principle of neutralisation. Every internal art, every yoga and meditation tradition, comes back to this.

Who it’s for

Foundation is built for anyone — beginners and seasoned practitioners both. If you’ve trained taiji, qigong, yoga, or meditation for years and felt something missing, this is the missing element. If you’ve never trained before, this is the cleanest possible entry: no jargon, no choreography, no chase.

After Foundation

Graduates move into the ongoing field at their own pace — Crew ($49/mo, train alongside Andy), Posse ($109/mo, recorded teaching), Posse + ($189/mo, recorded teaching plus weekly feedback), or Circle ($239/mo, live 8-cap with feedback). Most stay. None are required to.
